Ø            Big Brother 7 – All Stars Begins!

Ø            Episode 1 – The results of the voting are revealed. Instead of allowing the Top 6 into the house, the producers decide to allow the Top 8 into the house, and select 6 more for a total of 14 house guests. In no particular order, the Top 4 females are: Janelle, Erika, Nakomis, and Diane. The Top 4 males are: Howie, Kaysar, James, and Jase. The producers pick: Danielle, Alison, Will, Marcellas, Mike, and George. A new twist is revealed – there will be 2 Heads of Household, who will jointly nominate 2 house guests for eviction. If they cannot agree, the HoH will themselves be nominated.  Jase and Janelle win the 1st Heads of Household competition.  Jase and Janelle nominate Danielle and Alison for eviction.

Ø          Big Brother 7: All Starspreviews Wednesday, June 21 at 8:00 PM EDT/PDT! The names of 20 previous house guests will be announced and America then will vote (by Internet) on the 6 that we want in the house. The Producers will pick the other 6 to be in the house.

Ø          Thursday, July 6 at 8:00 PM EDT/PDT is the first episode!|

Ø          House Guest Ranking Formula has been developed. Check it out on the new House_Guest_Ranker page.

6/13/06

We are now updating the Big Brother Web Directory to prepare for BIG BROTHER 7: ALL STARS! See entry below from 4/11/06 for the changes that will be made. Additional changes:

1.       I have decided to KEEP The Latest News section after all, mainly so we can look back at previous seasons and see what happened episode by episode with a quick summary.

2.       I have finally realized, after 5 years, that it’s easier to remember past seasons by the season number instead of the year (duh!). So all years will be replaced by season numbers (example: “2001” becomes “BB 2”).

4/12/06

Ø          BIG NEWS! We have just learned that BIG BROTHER 7 will be an ALL-STAR version! There will be “pool” of 20 all-star contestants from previous Big Brother seasons, and America will get to vote on which will enter the house as house guests! We’re not sure yet how many house guests there will be, how they will balance male versus female, and how they will balance having enough house guests representing each season. More to come!!!

4/11/06

Ø          The Big Brother Web Directory will, of course, be back for Big Brother 7 and our 6th Season as the Internet’s best source for links about Big Brother! There will be a few changes, though:

n              We will start a new feature, tentatively called the “House Guest Ranker”, that provides a continuous ranking of the House Guests’ “strength” – kind of like the AP Top 25 in College Basketball. Points will be awarded or subtracted for various events that happen to each house guest – getting nominated, getting evicted, winning Power of Veto, winning Head of Household, winning food competitions, winning luxury competitions, and so on. The formula will be developed shortly.

n              We will discontinue the “The Latest News” portion of the website (which is exactly what you are reading right now), because mostly that was just a summary of what happened on the show after each episode. You can find better summaries of the show results elsewhere. We will, however, continue to report “breaking news” and “big news” items like the announcement of the new seasons, etc.

n              As always, we will change the background of the pages just so you have a fresh look for 2006.
