9/21/04 Episode 31  - As I predicted, Drew won by a vote of 4 to 3. I only got Nakomis’ and Karen’s votes backwards. Congratulations Drew—you deserve it.

Here are my predictions for how the voting will go (in bolded blue), and the actual votes (in bolded red).

I predict Drew winning by a close 4 to 3 vote!

However, if he went up against Diane, I think it would have been drew by 5 to 2  (with Diane getting Nakomis’ and Will’s vote and that’s all).

9/17/04 Episode 30  - Once again my favorite player was evicted. I think Drew made a mistake evicting Diane – they were a “team” and I think she deserves to win as she played the game the best. Drew also played very well and won a lot of competitions. Michael, whom I like, didn’t win anything except a late veto. However, not too many people are mad at him for anything since he was never Head of Household or a strong and/or opinionated player.

9/14/04 Episode 29  - No surprise on Michael’s use of Power of Veto to evict Nakomis, though I wish he hadn’t. I still like Diane even though I would rather have seen Nakomis win it all.

9/11/04 Episode 28  - No surprises tonight. It’s up to Nakomis to win the Veto competition; otherwise it obviously doesn’t look good for her. I hope she does – it could make it very very interesting. In the meantime, she should try to win over Diane and/or Cowboy to her side if at all possible. She’s smart enough to try it anyway.

9/9/04 Episode 27  - Very unfortunate that Karen had to be evicted. She was my favorite. I wanted her to win. She has a great heart and was always honest and even though it looked like she wasn’t playing a strategy, she was. The big question now is, who will Drew take to the final 2? I predict he will remain loyal to Diane, even though he’s promised Cowboy the final 2. Strategically, he should do this—Cowboy would still vote for him (I predict) as a jury member, but Diane probably would be more pissed and wouldn’t vote for him. Plus Drew alone, as a former 4-Horsemen member, would garner a probable 3 votes from his fellow Horsemen alone.

9/7/04 Episode 26  - Although I favor the Nakomis/Karen team, I had no problem with Diane’s actions – they made sense and I’d probably do the same thing in her position. Unfortunately it means Karen will be evicted.

9/4/04 Episode 25  - They should do all the shows like this – nominations, veto, eviction, then new Head of Household. Very quick. Sorta glad to see Marvin go; wanted Karen or Michael again to win HoH – not Nakomis, but it’s OK. I’m liking Diane more and more.

9/2/04 Episode 24  - Still don't understand why Adria doesn't get it. I liked Marvin for calling her out when she was leaving - she couldn't leave well enough alone. I can't believe she was my favorite player back when but I guess I didn't know the real Adria - she was too busy switching in and out with Natalie to play the game as herself. Drew is getting on my nerves now - too wishy washy for me. I was hoping Michael or Karen would win HoH since neither had won it previously.

8/31/04 Episode 23  - I forgot to write a commentary. Just glad to see Adria nominated again and to see Karen win something finally.

8/26/04 Episode 22:  It was bittersweet to see Natalie go; I didn’t like the twin alliance but I wish Adria and Natalie had stuck with the original alliance and then they’d still be in the house. It will be interesting to see who Marvin sides with next week.

8/24/04 Episode 21:  I didn’t like Adria’s and Natalie’s reaction to being nominated – they seemed like poor sports. When did they get to be so mean? Forget the “pinky swear”, they broke the alliance by nominating and evicting Will, so they got nominated – plain and simple. What’s so difficult to understand about that? I thought Adria would not be selfish and veto Natalie, but she didn’t. I thought Natalie would have a better chance in the house than Adria, since it was Adria who did the nominating and evicting of Will. Didn’t want to see Michael nominated in her place, but he was a vote for Natalie, so he had to be put up.

8/21/04 Episode 20:  As predicted, Adria and Natalie were nominated (though you are never sure). Good move, Nakomis. I think everyone in the house will want to break up the twin alliance.

8/19/04 Episode 19:  Very upset that Will was evicted. I think Adria is in trouble now. I was so happy to see Nakomis win HoH again – once again (like when Jase/Scott were still there), almost all the “bad” people were eliminated from HoH in the first round!

8/17/04 Episode 18:  I am sad to see Adria piss off the entire house in only one week! What happened to her?!?! She was previously my favorite but she made enemies way too quickly! Not a smart move on her part. She should have stuck with the alliance longer, or at least made it seem that way.

8/14/04 Episode 17:  I only saw the first 15 minutes of the show because I taped it and there was some 45 minute delay and The Amazing Race was showing in the time slot instead. By the way, I am moving my apartment so I might miss a the commentary and updating this website for a few episodes.

8/12/04 Episode 16:  Glad to see Jase finally go, even though he was acting all innocent and nice towards the end. Glad to see Adria win HoH – she deserves it. My prediction is that she nominates Marvin and Michael

8/10/04 Episode 15:  I was very surprised that they trusted Drew to use the Power of Veto so much that they let him win it, let alone even let him play for it.

8/07/04 Episode 14:  A clever plan, nominating Diane and Marvin, and then substituting Jase after the Power of Veto. I hope it doesn’t backfire somehow, though.

8/05/04 Episode 13: A great show! First, a**hole Scott was evicted! Yes! Then, the Horsemen are eliminated from HoH in the first round of competition! Then, Jennifer aka Nakomis wins HoH! Yea! Then, Natalie enters the house! I loved it! Whoo-hoo! Now if I can only get people back to this website!

8/03/04 Episode 12: Not happy to see Jase win (yet again) the Power of Veto. Diane was stupid, in my opinion – she should have put up Michael instead of Marvin! That was the only way to ensure Scott getting evicted. Now I am not sure who it will be. Probably 4-3 evicting Scott but no guarantees.

7/31/04 Episode 11: Obviously I was glad to see Diane as the new HoH. I have more respect for her now that she stood there for 9 hours to win it. Very glad to see Jase and Scott nominated. I really didn’t think the tide would turn in the house, but it clearly has.

7/29/04 Episode 10: I was surprised but thankful that Holly was evicted instead of Adria. I really expected a tie. I can only hope that Adria didn’t make any promises to the 4 Horsemen to get the votes – or if she did, that she will not follow through with them.

7/27/04 Episode 9: I enjoyed seeing the 4 Horsemen struggle and worry at the beginning, but then it got ugly after the Power of Veto competition when Diane made the sides clear. I agree with everything she said but no, it wasn’t very smart to draw attention to it. I was pissed to see Drew nominate Adria right after their discussion (at least it was edited to appear right after their discussion) – I am extremely disappointed in him. If he really hates the other Horsemen, then when will he turn against them? He’s not being smart at all. I can only hope he will break the tie by voting out Holly.

7/24/04 Episode 8: I didn’t think Drew had the guts to nominate Marvin. It would have been a stupid move anyway, since he’s still on their side. Glad, though, to see Drew nominate Holly, since I think the house will evict her (except for Jase and Scott, I don’t think she will get any votes against)… plus she’s not part of the anti-4 Horsemen alliance, if there even is such a thing anymore.

7/22/04 Episode 7: OK – with Drew winning HoH it’s really looking like the 4 Horsemen are unbeatable. It’s a shame too, because I hate them and it makes the show less interesting and more predictable. The only unpredictable thing that might happen from here on out is when Natalie joins Adria in the house, adding 1 to the numbers against the 4 Horsemen. But by then it will be too late. All the HoH and Power of Vetos have gone to one of the 4 Horsemen plus Marvin (who was basically the 5th Horseman). The others cannot win the challenges – even the ones that aren’t physical. I am not looking forward to watching this show anymore, I am sad to say. Stupid Marvin, if he really was angry about Jase using the Power of Veto (which if he was, why didn’t he try to talk him out of it?), should have turned around and nominated Jase. That would have been great and Jase would be gone. But he was stupid and chicken.

7/20/04 Episode 6: I am NOT liking the way this is going, people! Sad to say that the 4 Horsemen plus Marvin plus Holly look unstoppable. Will was right – if one of “them” doesn’t win HoH next, they are in big trouble! I like Diane more now since she stood up for herself against assh*le Scott. I’d rank Scott lower on my ranking below if I only could.

7/17/04 Episode 5: The food competition was stupid. I like Will more now since he told how much he hates Scott and Jase, my 2 least favorite players. I didn’t like the way Marvin basically went with the 4 Horsemen even though he really isn’t one of them.  He had to be joking to think that Lori and Holly are strong players—they can’t win competitions and they have very little influence.

This year, I don’t have strong favorites like I did last year (Erika, Jack, etc.) – basically I don’t like most of the people in the house and I am not enjoying the show the way I did in past years. Perhaps it’s too soon to tell; I don’t know.  OK – I just checked my comments from Last Year’s episode 5 – I said the same thing! – that I wasn’t enjoying the season of Big Brother like I did previous seasons. So I guess it’s just “Episode 5 Malaise”.

7/15/04 Episode 4: A good episode, despite Mike’s unanimous eviction. I like Holly less now since she is friendly with Jase. Would have liked to see some others win HoH, but Marvin is better than having Michael (one of the 4 Horsemen who would be controlled by Jase/Scott) or Holly (Jase’ right hand) as HoH. I take back what I said about the twin twist – I thought it was cool seeing Adria and Natalie switch places and I hope they make it halfway because I would love to see the other house guests’ reactions!

7/13/04 Episode 3: Boy it was a long time since the previous episode! I was more annoyed than Mike that Jase and Scott wouldn’t admit they have an alliance! I like Mike more now because he is standing up to his competition and not afraid to say what’s on his mind. I also enjoyed seeing a potential girls alliance- anything to knock off the guys like Jase, Scott, Marvin, and Drew. But Will stupidly told Drew about it. I guess I like the “twist” (small as it is) to the Power of Veto, but I STILL think that a better twist is that the Power of Veto winner should be FORCED to use it. Maybe they think no one would compete for it, but they would have to in order to prevent the nominees from winning it.

7/8/04 Episode 2 – I was glad to see Michael finally talk about Jennifer being his sister, but I didn’t like the fact that he went to his alliance first. I think he’s weak. Obviously I’m upset that 2 of my favorite house guests, Mike and Jennifer, are nominated. I hate that the episode was edited to make it look like Marvin would be nominated and then, of course, he wasn’t. It’s strange that Jase says he nominated Mike for trying to make an alliance without him, when in fact, Jase has the biggest alliance (“The Four Horsemen”) of all.

The more I thought about the twins twist, I think that possibly the twins will not be eligible to win Big Brother – that it’s just another “twist” to confuse the rest of the house guests. Otherwise, why are there 13 house guests instead of 12? The 13th house guest is the set of twins, who will be revealed at some point and won’t be eligible to win. That’s my theory. There’s no other fair way to handle it. By the way, I think it’s Adria who is the twin switcher. They don’t show her a lot and she looks different every time they do.

7/6/04 Episode 1 - Lots going on! I couldn’t believe that Lori would take the $10,000 and even more astounding was that people TOLD her to take it! Strange!

I like Holly (for her ditzy entertaining personality and her love of cats), Karen (who seems real and nice), Jennifer (because she’s different, although having people call her Nostradamus or whatever it was is not a good idea), and her half-brother Michael. I don’t like Jase, so of course he’s the first Head of Household. Good- let him piss people off and make enemies the first week and he won’t last long.

The “Project DNA” is a stupid name but a good twist. I can’t believe that Michael isn’t revealing to Jennifer that he’s her brother! He’s putting the game over the family element – I guess it’s good strategy but if I were Jennifer, I would be mad as hell at him for holding it back. I think he doesn’t want to be associated with her because she will probably be evicted soon. Originally I picked her to win, thinking that she’d fly under the radar while the pretty people voted each other off – obviously I can tell now that’s not going to happen. The obnoxious pretty people like Diane will get her voted off.

The twins twist SUCKS BIG TIME! Interesting idea for maybe a week or two, but it goes AGAINST THE WHOLE IDEA OF THE SHOW, which is having people in the house for 3 months. It’s NOT FAIR and I hope it gets revealed very soon and eliminated along with the twin, which I suspect is Drew because of his resemblance to his brother (Adria doesn’t look that much like her twin in my opinion but I am probably wrong as usual). I didn’t like the X-Factor at first either so maybe I will warm to it. But if the twins win, there’s no way that would be fair.

7/2/04 – House Guests are revealed – see my pre-show rankings below. I am basing it only on their answers to the questions as shown on the CBS.com website.
